Dearest community, what a wild ride we are all on together. Amidst all of this uncertainty and fear, we decided to pause production last week in order to regroup, gain knowledge, and make the best decision for all of us moving forward. During that time, the kitchen we rent from closed in order to update their standard operating procedures and sanitize everything within. After talking to our Farmer’s Market staff and management, other vendors, fellow bread bakers and peers in the food world, it has become more clear what is the right decision *for us*. We provide essential food to our community, and we need and want to be there for you all. Farmer’s Markets, where most of you find our bread, are considered *essential* food sources, they will continue to operate and we will be there. Saturday at the Grand Lake Farmer’s Market, Sunday at the Kensington Farmer’s Market and Tuesday at the South Berkeley Farmer’s Market. You can also find our bread again on Good Eggs for home delivery, Saturday-Tuesday. We love you all and are looking forward to doing our part to keep you happy, healthy, and fed.
Love, Chase and Ayla.
